Humphries’ Czech Darts Open record after the 2026 final

Luke Humphries has won three Czech Darts Open titles. See his 2022–2026 results, four finals in five editions, and how Littler ended his title run.

Luke Humphries holds the Czech Darts Open title record with three wins: 2022, 2024 and 2025. He reached a third consecutive Prague final in 2026, but Luke Littler beat him 8–6 on 6 September, preventing a fourth title and a third straight championship. The PDC’s final report describes his attempt as a bid for a “record-extending fourth” crown.

As of 25 October 2026, his record across the five editions from 2022 to 2026 is three titles and four finals. That is a tournament-results record, not a three-dart-average record.

Humphries’ Prague results, 2022–2026

Scores below are written from Humphries’ perspective. An 8–5 final win means he won eight legs and his opponent won five.

Edition Finish Decisive result
2022 Champion Beat Rob Cross 8–5 — PDC history
2023 Quarter-finalist Lost to Peter Wright 3–6 — Mastercaller report
2024 Champion Beat Kim Huybrechts 8–1 — match results
2025 Champion Beat Josh Rock 8–5 — PDC report
2026 Runner-up Lost to Luke Littler 6–8 — PDC report

The distinction between total and consecutive titles matters. Humphries’ 2025 victory completed a three-title tally, but not three consecutive wins: Peter Wright won the intervening 2023 edition. His consecutive championships were 2024 and 2025; his consecutive finals were 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The 2026 event preview saying he had won “three out of the last four editions” describes his position before the 2026 tournament. After the 2026 final, the corresponding figure is three of the last five. Neither fraction is his match-win percentage: each counts whole tournament editions, not individual matches.

What happened in 2026?

Humphries beat Beau Greaves in his opening match, then Andrew Gilding 6–3, William O’Connor 6–3 and Gerwyn Price 7–4 to reach the final. Against Littler, he recovered from 7–4 down to 7–6, but missed two darts at double 16 that would have forced a deciding leg. Littler finished on double ten to win 8–6. Those results are confirmed by the PDC and Sky Sports.

Title record versus scoring average

A three-dart average measures points scored per dart, multiplied by three. For example, clearing 501 in 15 darts gives 501 ÷ 15 × 3 = 100.20 for that completed leg. A match average covers all the player’s legs, including those lost—not just successful finishes. Our guide to three-dart averages explains the distinction.

Humphries averaged 105.57 over the nine-leg 2024 final, according to Mastercaller’s results. That describes his performance in one match. His three Prague titles describe repeated tournament success; the two statistics answer different questions.
